Alpha Environmental began business in 1994. The
owners, Don and Liz Parsons started this small business
after leaving the corporate world. Our son Zeb Parsons

Liz "Martinec" Parsons is a co-founder. A butchers
daughter from upstate NY with an amazing "old world"
work ethic. Liz graduated from Cornell University with
a BS in Industrial Labor Relations. Many will know Liz
from NCR and also Palmetto Health Baptist where she
is currently employed as a Human Resources Business
Partner.

Don Parsons, is a co-founder and main operational owner. Don is a Vietnam Era Veteran having served with
the 101st Airborne Div. In addition:
Don is a graduate of Tri County Technical College where he received an Associates Degree in Industrial
Engineering Tech. Graduating Outstanding Graduate.
Don received his BS in Computer Engineering from Clemson University with a minor in mathematics
in 1983.
Don worked 12 years as a Computer Design Engineer, Engineering Project Leader, and Graphics Architect for
NCR/AT&T. While working for NCR/AT&T Don received numerous awards including a corporate R&D award
and the esteemed "Chief Scientist Eureka Award."
Additional studies completed at Greenville Technical College in Industrial Technology with an emphasis on
HVACR (Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration). Don graduated on the Presidents List (Perfect 4.0 GPA).
Don has three US Patents in Electronics Designs.
Universal EPA Certification in Refrigerant Handling
SC Mechanical Contractor Qualifying Party, Class AC (By Examination not Grand-fathered)
In addition Don has completed specialty training attending:
Copeland Compressor operation and troubleshooting:, Copeland at Williamburg VA.
Honeywell Gas Control training, Honeywell at Charlotte NC
Piedmont Natural Gas Basic and Advance gas training, Piedmont Natural Gas, Greenville SC.
Don's training provides Alpha's customer's with the finest technical knowledge and diagnostics
skills available locally in digital electronics, electrical controls, electric motors, and refrigeration
controls.
